Orange Champs

The Orange Champs is for orange-ball level players that have begun to show correct fundamentals during rallies, capable of serving with a continental grip, and can keep a rally going during point play while also displaying a degree of strategic risk taking. The three hours of daily training consists of 30 minutes of warm-up and footwork training. Then one hour of technical and consistency work broken down into 15-minute of segments of various groundstroke and volley drills. The remaining time will be serves, returns, and point play. Given their age and the midday heat, we will provide a ten-minute break between the technical and point play stages of practice.

Practice Days: Monday-Friday

Junior Champs

As with all players in the high-performance programs, the Junior Champs player is expected to display a level of self-discipline and is willing to ask questions to learn more and grow his or her knowledge of the game. The program is physically and mentally demanding - it consists of a 30-minute dynamic warm-up and fitness training followed by one hour of intensive drilling. Then the players will spend about 30-minutes working on serves and returns and finish with an hour of point play. To help prepare students for tournaments, on Thursdays and Fridays, after the 30-minutes of physical training, we will have players drill and work on serves for 30-minutes then play points for two hours.

Practice Days: Monday-Friday
